We had a special surprise for our Regent team during Regent Surgical Health’s 2023 Administrators Conference in Dallas. On the second day of the conference, Regent Surgical Health hosted a Build-A-Bike® activity.

Participants competed with other teams to win pieces of a bicycle. Once a group successfully gathered all the parts, they worked together to assemble the bike. The real secret and challenge to this event, though, is that none of the small groups could entirely complete a single bicycle without working together with additional groups.

This memorable team-building activity was not only an excellent opportunity to support a local community less than 6 miles away from where the conference took place, but special guests made the event even more impactful. Children from Grapevine Community Outreach Center were present to receive the new bikes built during the event.

Since the very first Build-A-Bike® event, the nonprofit has delivered over 2,000 events worldwide and donated over $3.5 million dollars in bicycles to youth charities. As an organization that recognizes the importance of community involvement as part of our RISE values, we were incredibly proud to partner with Build-A-Bike® to make a difference in the lives of local children.
