Regent Surgical Health named Amanda Nunkovich Administrator of the Year during this year’s annual meeting for ambulatory surgery center (ASC) administrators in Nashville.
The award recognized Amanda, admin at Palos SurgiCenter in Palos Heights, IL, for stellar performance in three areas:
- Profitability: in terms of net revenue, saving money on supplies and labor, and earnings
- Growth: via both new physicians and existing partners
- Satisfaction: among employees, physicians, and patients
“Our industry has faced unprecedented challenges and Amanda rose to the occasion with her quiet, confident, and capable leadership,” said Regent CEO Chris Bishop. “We have excellent administrators across our system, but Amanda truly earned this recognition by increasing case volume, exceeding revenue goals, increasing patient satisfaction, and adding otology as a new service line. One of the most impressive accomplishments has been creating a culture where employees want to stay. She has identified growth opportunities for her teammates and leads with integrity, embodying our RISE values.”
Regent has had an ongoing commitment to RISE, a set of corporate values focused on Respectful Caring, Integrity, Stewardship, and Efficiency, and strives to keep a constant focus on creating a culture that embraces those values.
“I am so honored to receive this award,” Amanda said. “Coming from a clinical background I never thought I’d be serving as an administrator, but I love it. I’ve received so much support from everyone on the team and I look forward to continuing to grow our center and serve our patients with excellence.”
As this year’s winner, Amanda received a beautiful, personalized glass trophy, as well as an all-expense-paid vacation for two to Costa Rica, Miami, or Ireland.
