Bringing together operational expertise and clinical innovation to ASCs in Tampa and Orlando

NASHVILLE, TENN. (January 16, 2026) – Regent Surgical (Regent), a national leader in the management and development of ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) for health systems and physician practices, today announced a new partnership with BioSpine, a physician-owned spine care organization. Through this collaboration, the two organizations will jointly operate BioSpine’s ASCs in Tampa and Orlando, Fla.

This partnership reflects both organizations’ shared commitment to improving patient outcomes through accessible, high-quality and efficient surgical care. The outpatient centers deliver state-of-the-art spine procedures with an emphasis on safety, recovery and patient experience – key components of BioSpine’s care model.

“Our mission has always been to bring cutting-edge, minimally invasive spine surgery to more patients, and this partnership will help us scale that vision,” said James Ronzo, D.O., Orthopedic Spine Surgeon at BioSpine. “We’re committed to advancing spine care by delivering better outcomes in a more convenient, outpatient setting. This partnership will enable us to do those things for even more patients.”

Regent brings decades of expertise in ASC operations and will provide key services including clinical and revenue cycle management, strategic growth planning and regulatory support. This enables BioSpine’s physicians to maintain their focus on delivering innovative, patient-centered spine care while scaling their reach and impact across Florida.

“As demand for outpatient spine surgery continues to grow, our partnership with BioSpine demonstrates what’s possible when clinical excellence is paired with operational strength,” said Travis Messina, CEO of Regent. “We’re not just supporting a care model, we’re building the future of minimally invasive spine surgery by expanding access, improving efficiency, and elevating the overall patient experience.”

BioSpine’s ASCs are staffed by board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeons who are nationally recognized for their clinical expertise and commitment to innovation. Surgeons James Ronzo, D.O., Frank Bono, D.O., Roderick Claybrooks, M.D., and Anthony Cucchi, D.O., practice at the centers.

“Our approach has always focused on delivering precise, patient-centered care with as little disruption to patients’ lives as possible,” said Frank Bono, D.O., Orthopedic Spine Surgeon at BioSpine. “Partnering with Regent strengthens our ability to expand this care model and reach more patients in need of non-surgical treatments and also surgical relief from chronic back or neck pain.”
