JetBlue recently launched a program that honored 100,000 healthcare workers called the JetBlue Healthcare Heros and one of our very own administrators received this recognition. Congratulations to Debra Hagendorn, administrator at East Hills Surgery Center in Greenvale, New York!
“It was a very nice surprise and it was amazing to learn that all three of my children nominated me,” said Hagendorn.
Healthcare workers have been instrumental with navigating through the COVID-19 pandemic and we are especially thankful for employees like Hagendorn.
Hagendorn has worked at East Hills Surgery Center since its creation and will be retiring at the end of the month after almost 40 years of being a nurse. She has also been named “Administrator Leader to Know in Healthcare” and “Top ASC Administrators” by Becker’s ASC and has spent nearly 20 years in the operating room prior to coming to the ASC setting.
“We’re incredibly proud of all the hard work Deb has done over the past years and how much she has accomplished,” said Regent Surgical Health CEO Chris Bishop. “We wish her nothing but the best in her next endeavor.”
