Chief Executive Officer Chris Bishop, Oregon Surgical Institute surgeon-partner Christopher J. Nanson, MD, MPH, and Chief Development Officer Thomas Crossen are featured speakers at Becker’s ASC Review 27th Annual Meeting taking place October 21-23, 2021 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
Bishop and Dr. Nanson will give a presentation on the topic, 70% of your TJR Procedures are ASC Eligible. The workshop outlines how to build a successful partnership, create a Center of Excellence, establish the clinical team, and refine the clinical pathway.
This workshop takes place Thursday, October 21 from 2:10 to 2:50 CT.
Bishop will also be participating in an executive roundtable, Positioning with Strength in a Rapidly Changing ASC Marketplace, on Friday, October 22, from 7:00 to 8:00 CT. During this roundtable, Bishop will discuss consolidation between ASCs and management companies and the shift from inpatient to outpatient in cardiac and TJR centers.
Crossen will be participating in a panel discussion, Physician/Hospital Relationships: Good and Bad Ideas for JV ASCs. Crossen will join Greg Schooler, Chief Executive Officer at Cincinnati GI and Curtis Bernstein, Partner at Pinnacle Healthcare Consulting in a discussion moderated by Brian Zimmerman, Senior Director with Client Content + Strategy. The panel is slated for Thursday, October 21 from 12:25 to 1:05 CT.
