Regent Surgical Health, a proven leader in advancing and innovating ambulatory surgery care, welcomes Patricia Pyrdum as the company’s new Controller. Pyrdum is an accomplished executive leader with over twenty years of industry expertise in accounting and finance with extensive experience in revenue recognition, financial reporting, budgeting, and mergers and acquisitions.
“Tricia not only brings a wealth of experience to her role, but she has the energy and outlook that matches our company culture and values,” said Regent CEO Chris Bishop. “Her background and leadership will further our commitment to operational excellence across Regent and our growing portfolio of centers.”
Pyrdum comes to Regent from AMSURG where she served as Vice President of Financial Services and Controller. She led a team of accounting professionals in the financial reporting and analysis of more than 260 surgery centers, anesthesia facilities, and hospital joint partnerships.
“I am excited to be joining Regent at such a transformational time for the organization,” said Pyrdum. “Regent has a strong reputation in our industry and continues to stay true to its vision in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.”
Since 2001, Regent has developed, owned, and managed ASC facilities in partnership with hospitals and physicians and has grown to become the nation’s largest private health system joint venture-focused ASC operator.
